    Visa rules in China

    Is Chinese visa system becomes strict these years?Very difficult for a non-native English speaker find a job.

    degree+120 hrs TEFL/TESOL notarization certificate and non-criminal record authenticate certificate are necessary for Z visa

    I\'ve heard of those scandals as well. Some of them do have a work visa and still had problems . They should focus more on the back ground check other than the degree.

    the system becomes strict because 2019 is the Seventieth Anniversary Celebration and some scandals of foreign teachers happen. If you dont have z visa, it is very hard to work in beijing, but in ohter cities it is possible for non native english speakers to get visa and find a esl job

    Good question. Everything needs to be authenticated,need to take the papers to 2 or 3 places before the chinese embassy which is time and cost consuming. In the you may not even get a job with a good salary.

    I am confused as well. Before as long as you have a degree you can easily have a work visa . and now you have to go through a long process to just get the documents prepared.
